MOTHER’S DAY LOVE

Image Description

Theses are some of the lyrics from the song, Thank You Mama recorded by Jamaican Singer, Sizzla.
Thank you mama for the nine months you carried me through
All the pain an' sufferin'
No one knows the pressure you bare a just only you
Give you all my love, oh yeah.

A Mother’s Love!!! A Mother’s Comfort!!! A Mother’s Smile!!! A Mother’s Sacrifice!!! How do you repay that? You can’t but you do try. Mother’s Day is Mama’s Day, the special day when we thank our mothers for helping us to get this far, for asking our mother to forgive us for all the crap that we put them through. It is the day that we pull out all the stops to show our mom that we care. This Sunday is Mother’s Day which means that mothers all over the world will be treated and pampered with cards, flowers, and brunches and whatever their little hearts desire. As much as this is important the only thing some mothers require is for their children to take timeout to spend some time with them or give a call to say I love you mom.

I would like to pay tribute to all the mothers worldwide on this Mother’s Day. I would like to say thanks and a special tribute to my mother and grandmother who both did a fantastic job of raising me, never once giving up on me. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms and Mama’s from Bethel Town, Westmoreland and Surrounding Areas who sacrificed and persevered to see their children through the worst.

Today, sadly I pay a special tribute to a great mom and teacher, Karen Snipe who lost her son Carlon Snipe in a plane crash. I cannot begin to imagine her pain at losing her beautiful child at such a young age. Carlon was always positive, smiling, motivating and always polite. He was a beautiful soul. The result of the love, the sacrifices and the discipline he received from you his mom and dad.

Karen I leave you with a few lines from Boyz 2 Men. These would be Carlon’s words to you today on Mother’s Day. On this Day I wish you peace.

Mama, Mama you know I love you
Mama, Mama you're the queen of my heart
Your love is like tears from the stars
(Your love is like tears from the stars)
Mama I just want you to know lovin' you is like food to my soul
